My search and research goes on.

Today I discovered a page from the 1944 Cardinal yearbook of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This page recognizes South Division Alumni who were in and contributed during World War II. Members of the United States Army included CK’s great-grandfather Wilfred Groh and his brother, great-granduncle Jack Groh.

From the files of the U.S., Department of Veterans Affairs great-grandfather Wilfred Enlistment Date was 18 Nov 1942, Branch 1: Army. His Release Date was 18 Jun 1946.
