Happy and a soggy 4th of July from Tampa.
Discovered a voodoo concoction to help sore throats, and believe it or not it works. Juice of ¼ lemon, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar, and a pinch of cayenne pepper… all stirred in a cup of boiling hot water. I’m really pleasantly surprised. And you are not to exceed four cups a day.
My next Record is the follow up to the Record entered 24 November 1830 to the Grenada Registers of Records; see Part 306s. The sale or lease transaction is between James Smith and John Sarlat both of the Island of Grenada. Is this ggg-grandfather James Smith? I’m not one hundred percent sure, but there are indications based on the property that it may have been. I will be cross-referencing back to some earlier Documents and Records of property transactions.
There are no hints or clues or any other extraneous information in this Record that would lead me to the genealogy, ancestry, or inter-family connections of ggg-grandfather James. But it is a valuable piece of information that assists in the learning, if it is, of his life and dealings.
The images are downloaded from the microfilm FHL [1563380] and Item 5. Here are the pages 195 through and including 198.
