Afternoon,

The following is an updated transcription of the 1840 Acte de Naissance for gg-grandaunt Marie July. This follows my introduction on my Posting Part 339j.

As it is critical to have images that are as legible as possible, I have enlarged and worked on the gg-grandaunt Marie July’s 1840 Acte de Naissance to provide a better copy. This makes transcribing much easier, to some degree.

est comparu le Sieur Jean François July, Peintre,
demeurant Place du Marché No. 42. Lequel nous on présente
un enfant du sexe féminen, Né avant hier à onze heures
du Matin, de lui déclarant de Dame Catherine
Dubuc, son épouse et auquel il donne le prénom
de Marie: fait en présence des Sieurs Charles Durrant? et
Bernard _____, gardes? à la Mairie et demeurant temoins
Majeurs, Lecture faite du _____ _____, le père et les témoins
ont signé avec nous.

appeared the Mr. Jean François July, Painter,
living at No. 42 Place du Marché, who presented
a female child, born before yesterday at eleven o’clock
in the morning, declared of him and the Lady Catherine
Dubuc, his wife, and to whom he gives the name
of Marie: made in the presence of the Mr. Charles Durrant and
Bernard _____, guards? residing in the City Hall and the major witnesses,
the reading was made the _____ _____, the father and the witnesses
have signed with us.

Now to continue my search for the next sibling of gg-grandfather Jean Jacques Alfred July.

And no, I haven’t given up the search for the origins and ancestry of my ggg-grandfather James Smith of Grenada. As my PC is being fixed, I sort of welcome the break from the transcription work of all the Smith-related Indentures. I will be returning to my Indenture Project. But for now I will continue with my Bordeaux Actes de Naissance Project.

arrière-arrière-grand-tante Marie July de 1840. Cela fait suite à mon introduction sur mon travail de mon blog partie 339j.

Comme il est essentiel, pour avoir des images qui sont aussi lisibles que possible, j'ai agrandi et nettoyé l'image de l'acte de naissance de l'arrière-arrière-grand-tante Marie July de 1840 pour fournir une meilleure copie. Cela rend beaucoup plus facile de transcription, dans une certaine mesure.

Maintenant, je continue ma recherche pour le prochain frère de mon arrière-arrière-grand-père Jean-Jacques Alfred July.

Et non, je n'ai pas renoncé à la recherche de l'origine et l'ascendance de mon arrière-arrière-arrière-grand-père James Smith de la Grenade. Comme mon PC est fixe, je sorte de l'accueil de la pause, le travail de transcription de tous les Actes de Smith-connexes. Je reviendrai à mon projet de Indenture.
