Following Part 132c, I’ve decided to begin presenting those documents I may have on file of my Crossley Line.
Today I’m beginning the ancestry of my maternal grandmother Madge (née Goodey) Robertson with her mother, my great-grandmother Mary Alice (née Crossley) Goodey.
The inserted picture of great-grandmother Mary Alice to the left may have been posed for around 1915 and 1917.
Great-grandmother Mary Alice Crossley was born the 23rd of December 1864. This Christmas would have been 145 years ago. Her parents were gg-grandparents William and Elizabeth (née Parker) Crossley.
I have included the Certified Copy of An Entry Of Birth number 425 which I obtained from the General Register Office in England.
My transcription –
Stay-tuned for the next installments and subsequent documents of key points of great-grandmother Mary Alice’s life.
Enjoy,
Jim
