Today I’m easing my eyes from scanning the 1810’s script of the scribes of the Grenada Registers Transcription project… This posting is of the 1917 Marriage of Andy’s grandparents Harry (Henry) E. Brunhammer and Anna M. McAteer.
Somewhere in the throes of my files are copies of this document that Carol, Sally, Andy, and I found, along with a number of other documents, a few years ago at the Delaware Public Archives. As the copies are all paper, the process to scan and categorize does take some time.
But most recently Ancestry.com has added and updated, which they continue to do regularly, to their services three databases pertaining to Delaware: Birth Records 1800-1932; Marriage Records, 1806-1935; and Death Records, 1811-1933. And I have been able to download a number of Brunhammer related documents.
The first is a State of Delaware indexed record, filed by the Groom’s surname, which appears to be the notation and recording by Rector of St. Ann’s Church, in Wilmington.
