Part 251s – Smith Robertson Genealogy – Indenture Research – 1832 Richard Oliver Smith

30 March 2010

Evening,

Tonight’s supper, scallops with pancetta and leeks in lemon butter sauce and rice with five grains. Quick easy and very good.

I spent some time yesterday working on my Transcription Project in my continued search for the genealogy and ancestry of my ggg-grandfather James Smith. My first transcription is of a Bill of Sale by Richard Oliver Smith. And as mentioned previously, I have not found any hint of a connection to ggg-grandfather James.

The date of the Bill of Sale is 1 November 1832 and entered to the Grenada Registers of Records, 1817-1837 (v. R2-Z2) on 2 November 1832. The Record is downloaded from Item 8 of the microfilm FHL [1563329].
