In the wee hours of the morning one would think that these Documents would put me to sleep. They do... and then they don't. I just have this unrelenting urge to keep going. And you can see I have not given up on my Transcription Project.
This next Record, of pages 155 through and including 159 from the Grenada Registers of Records introduces two Smiths; James of Longbeoch in the Parish of Irongray and Stewarty of Kirkandbright in Scotland and David, Gentleman of Glasgow, Scotland. Based on the number of names included in this Record, one could most definitely get lost attempting to sort out the genealogy and the inter-relationships.
I cannot prove or predict that this James Smith is ggg-grandfather James. Neither do I see any hints or clues into the genealogy or ancestry of ggg-grandfather James’ origins.
