Part 623b – Brunhammer Genealogy – New and Updated Descendant Charts

14 January 2012

Good Day,

Following up with the discovery of the related information regarding Great-Grandaunt Lizzie Brunhammer (see Part 616b) I have updated the Brunhammer Descendant Chart. The Genealogy of the Brunhammer Family continues to grow.

This Descendant Chart is not only restricted to Andy’s Blood Line; the identified in individuals in blue and yellow. It also includes various Collateral Lines as those individuals; ancestors and connections, relate to him.

And as the information and data, the ancestors and the relative connections continue to grow, based on our search and research, I have found it necessary to split the whole Brunhammer Descendant Chart into three Parts: A, B, and C. These three Parts will be added to the Brunhammer drop-down menu at the top of each page on A Genealogy Hunt. I will also include a complete Brunhammer Descendant Chart but I must warn you that as the genealogy grows the complete one will become harder to read.

And the search and research continues.

Enjoy,

Jim

Part 615b – Brunhammer Genealogy – New and Updated Descendant Chart

04 December 2011

Good Day,

Supper, not bad… actually quite good. Sous-vide pork loin chops spiced with garlic and herbs; mashed carrots mixed with olive oil and lemon; and roasted peppery spring potatoes accompanied with fig and mint yoghurt dip. Not bad… and I’m still experimenting. Really enjoy cooking with my Sous-Vide thing-a-ma-jig, even though it looks like an old-school doctor’s sterilizing unit.

And tonight I decided to work on the preliminary new and updated Brunhammer Descendant Chart.

This Descendant Chart pictures the Genealogy of the Brunhammer Family, especially Andy’s blood line. (All direct blood line individuals, albeit the ancestors are highlighted in blue-outline and yellow.)

As you can see there are a number of new additions, in red, to the humungous Chart. I will in time be splitting or dividing the Chart into associated Parts.

Enjoy,

Jim

Part 606bc – Brunhammer Genealogy – 1984 Death - 1st Cousin Twice Removed Florence A. (née Brunhammer) Ciejka – Ware, Massachusetts

21 November 2011

Good Day,

And here is another Brunhammer discovery; a find in the search and research of the genealogy of the Brunhammer Family Tree.

The next is that of a Death in the archives of the Springfield Union of Ware, Massachusetts. These are the notice and announcement of the passing, dated 9 February 1984 1st Cousin twice removed Florence A. (née Brunhammer) Ciejka, sister to Mildred M. (née Brunhammer) Jablownski, and elder daughter of Jacob (née Jacques) and Anna L. Brunhammer.

According to the Massachusetts Death Index, 1970-2003, 1st Cousin twice removed Florence A. (née Brunhammer) Ciejka passed away 8 February 1984.

Also I have located from the Springfield Union Archives the notice and announcement of the 1975 passing of Florence’s husband, John A. Ciejka.

If you have any questions and comments, please feel free.

Regards,

Jim

Part 605bj – Brunhammer Genealogy – 1980 Death – 1st Cousin Twice Removed Mildred (née Brunhammer) Jablownski – Ware, Massachusetts

19 November 2011

Good Day,

Believe it or not this is my 800th Posting on A Genealogy Hunt. I never realized that there would be so much to write about them-there ancestors and stuff like trees, and branches, and limbs. Guess what? There is, and it is definitely much more than I really expected.

A couple of years back, and up to that point, I had been working about five years into the search and research for the Brunhammer Family. Based on starting with one of the Brunhammer grand-nieces, I had discovered information of just 52 ancestors in her blood line. And this took me five years!

When I calculated, based on a fan chart mapping and going back for 12 generations; just highlighting those ancestors in her immediate blood line, I figured it would take me approximately 405 years and 8 months to fill all of the 4,218 ancestors’ spaces in her blood line; in the fan chart. Guess I have a bit more work cut out for me.

I mentioned in my previous Posting, number 799 and Part 604b, that I had chanced upon some information from a GenealogyBank.com that opened a path to a branch of the Brunhammer Family Tree.

Following up from the 1910 US Census listing great-granduncle Jacob (née Jacques) Brunhammer I decided to conduct a Brunhammers in Massachusetts search. The first of seven Brunhammer News Articles Found is dated 23 January 1980 from the Springfield Union. It is the Death Notice of Mrs. Mildred (Brunhammer) Jablownski; Andy’s 1st Cousin twice removed.

Here is a copy of the Notice.

The above inserted cut-away from Google Maps shows the satellite picture of the approximate location of 282 Palmer Road in Ware, Massachusetts.

I will be creating a corresponding Descendant Chart shortly. Stay tuned, and enjoy,

Jim
