Part 429s – Smith Robertson Genealogy – Indenture Research – 1820 Two Smiths – Two Plantations: Colombier and Pyrrhenees

05 January 2011

Good Afternoon,

I just have to keep going. I have to keep searching and researching the origins of my ggg-grandfather James Smith. At some point in my research and maybe in my Transcription Project, I’ll stumble upon that clue which will lead me to the genuine origins of my ancestry and my genealogy. But until that day I keep trudging on.

My next Document and Indenture appears to be a continuation of the contract obligations and dealings between Archibald Smith et al and Ferdinand De Creft and his wife, Renaud. This 1819 Indenture is recorded in the Grenada Registers of Records. I have downloaded the images of the related Pages 873 through and including 875 from Item 5 of the microfilm FHL [1563379].

This concludes my last captured Document of Item 5 of this microfilm FHL [1563379]. My next challenge are 59 pages from Item 7 representing those Documents that may have some indication of the surname Smith. I cannot remember if there are any Smith-related Documents in Item 6. I will have to check on my pre-work.

Enjoy,

Jim
